About the Artist
Lynn Howson Page lives in New Haven, Connecticut where she has been painting in watercolors for the past 15 years. Recently retired from her career as a nurse, she now dedicates her time to painting and teaching watercolor classes from her studio in her home.
Her love for art began as a child, nurtured by her parents who frequented art museums and exhibitions.
Her love for watercolor began with classes taught by Mim Mills of Milford CT, who has been her teacher and mentor since she began her watercolor journey.
Lynn is a signature member of the North East Watercolor Society and has displayed her art in the NEWS International Exhibition. Her paintings have been shown in various Library Shows throughout Connecticut and are displayed in the permanent collection of the Smilow Cancer Hospital.
Using primarily 300lb cold press paper, Lynn paints en plein air and from still life and photo references. Her current focus is painting scenes of her beloved Adirondack Mountains.
